Banner Pilot: Heart Beats Pacific

I’ve slept on these guys for a few years now. Not sure what finally inspired me to check it out but it’s so good! I’ve only heard this one so I don’t have much to compare it to, but there’s a STRONG Dillinger 4 Civil War vibe going on which is an awesome thing in my eyes. A little Dear Landlord too, but more polished and less rough around the edges than either of the aforementioned bands. Good shit! Pick it up HERE.

A bunch of people have been freaking out about these guys recently. Finally I got real curious and ordered this from Mayfly records. This is great stuff and I see why everyone is excited. Reminds me of Dangers in the sense that it’s just fucking pissed off, straight for the jugular hardcore. Not that age matters, and these guys are great regardless, but I also have to say I’m impressed by how damn young these guys are. I think they’re like 17… I just thought back to the music I was making at 17 with my friends and shuttered at the thought of how incredibly bad it was.
