“In honor of our ten year anniversary as a band we thought now would be
a good time to repress our first 2 full lengths,The Sound of the Spectacle and Lift Your Burdens High for this is Where We Cross. Both of which have been out of print for the better part of a decade, so now seemed like the right time to sort of reintroduce them to a new generation of fans, as well as present them the way would have liked to initially if we had the resources.The reason we have chosen to use the kickstarter platform to do this is
simple, it costs a fair amount to do something like this coupled with
the constant expenses of simply being a band and we unfortunately can’t
afford it any other way. And rather than tie up all of our resources
into this if they get funded in this manner it will essentially allow
us to keep progressing as a band and still afford to tour, record
future records, pay for our rehearsal space etc.Also we did not want to come out and just ask for money without giving
something back so we decided to couple this with these reissues, so
consider this a great way to support us and be excited that at the end
of it all - not only will you be part of something that is truly special
to us but you will get a quality product as well.Physical media is something that has always been important to us, and
will continue to be our preferred method of sharing our music, but
with that belief comes added costs, so please help us by sharing that
cost.”
