I really don't mean to be a bother, and I know that the kickstarter stuff (right?) is shipping in October, but do you guys know roughly when in Oct. they are shipping?

it’s no bother at all. The completely honest answer is… no :) we are working with the plants now to start getting everything in production as we had to (and still are) finalizing some of the artwork, quotes, and other logistical odds and end. Doing everything possible to get things out asap in the fall but we’d be remiss to throw a date out at this time as it’s too early in the process to know for sure.
